Hutchinson rejoins Flint's TTC Yamaha team for 2016
Ian Hutchinson has re-signed for Keith Flint's Team Traction Control Yamaha squad for a second year to challenge for more honours at the international road races in 2016.
The Bingley Bullet famously bagged a double in the Supersport class at the TT for the delighted Prodigy frontman and will return to the Mountain Course targeting more success on the YZF-R6 next summer.
Hutchinson, who will also compete on the TTC Yamaha at the North West 200 and Ulster Grand Prix, said: "It was an obvious decision to join the team on their Supersport bike after the results we had this year.
"Before the TT I had never ridden the bike until the first lap of practice and then we won both Supersport races, so this feels perfect for me.
"It was so easy coming and riding with the team and we know what we can improve together for next year, so we can move the job forward again."
Hutchinson was recently confirmed in Ulster team Tyco BMW for the Superbike and Superstock races next season at the main road races and will also compete for Philip Neill's team in the National Superstock 1000 Championship.
The 36-year-old defied the odds to overcome a serious leg injury suffered in 2010 to return to winning ways at the TT, where he also won the Superstock race this year on Paul Bird's Kawasaki to complete an emotional hat-trick.
