Michael Dunlop in Buildbase BMW deal for 2016
Eleven-time TT winner Michael Dunlop will once again join forces with Hawk Racing for the international road races in 2016.
The Ulsterman will ride the Buildbase BMW S1000RR in the Superbike at the North West 200, Isle of Man TT and Ulster Grand Prix.
Last year, the 26-year-old crashed out of a certain podium place on the final lap of the RST Superbike race but bounced back to set his fastest ever TT lap at 132.515mph later in the week in the flagship Senior TT.
Dunlop is also set to ride in several MCE British Superbike rounds, including Silverstone and Oulton Park.
"I'm coming back to the TT to win again. I gave it my best last year but the Superbike crash wasn't the best preparation for the Senior," Dunlop said.
"My last lap at the TT reminded everyone what I can do and with these boys behind me I'm ready to race properly again."
Steve Hicken, Team Manager, added: "We're delighted to have Michael back on board for 2016. We know what we have to do to get him back on the top step and with a proper lead time to prepare this year we're looking forward to helping him achieve his ambitions."
