Ales Dryml injury update.

We are thrilled to report that we have just received stunning news and that news is that Ales is fully conscious, talking coherently to his family and doctors in both English and Czech as he sits up in his hospital bed at the neurological unit at the Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford.

It is the news we feel sure that everyone has been hoping and praying would be forthcoming and is simply amazing in that we can now reveal that less than 48 hours ago things looked very bleak indeed and the prognosis was somewhat pessimistic to say the least.

We hope to bring you a fuller update later this afternoon / evening possibly including quotes from Lukas Dryml, Ales's younger brother, who along with father Ales Snr and other family members have been at bedside constantly since flying in to the UK last Thursday morning.

Our thoughts are very much with the entire Dryml family who's joy is unbounded at the moment having literally gone through many desperately dark moments since last Wednesday evening. We are somewhat hesitant to use the word miracle but are naturally absolutely thrilled and relieved to have received this news ourselves, news that we were all hoping and praying for.

Once again Lukas and his family have expressed their sincere thanks and gratitude to all at Alpha Care who's immediate assessment and treatment of Ales on track after his crash was vital and, possibly life-saving and to the doctors and nurses at both the main Radcliffe Hospital and Infirmary where Ales is now for utilising their renowned expertise to bring about this outcome.

That gratitude is, as we've said before, extended to all of those who have sent messages of support for Ales over the last week.

Mere words cannot describe the sheer joy felt by all at this latest news and we all hope that everyone, particularly seriously injured Stoke rider Luke Priest and family, can draw renewed strength from it.
