Senna joins RLR MSport for 2019 ELMS season
Bruno Senna will return to the European Le Mans in 2019 after signing a deal to be part of RLR MSport’s LMP2 programme.
Senna has chiefly focused on sports car racing since making his last single-seater appearance in Formula E in mid-2016, and claimed his first title in any discipline in 2017 in the FIA World Endurance Championship’s LMP2 class.

The Brazilian remains part of Rebellion Racing’s LMP1 line-up in WEC for the remainder of the 2018-19 campaign, currently sitting fifth in the drivers' championship, but will add ELMS to his schedule this year after being announced as part of the RLR MSport line-up.
“It’s very exciting to take on this new challenge and to be joining the European Le Mans Series’ highly competitive LMP2 field with RLR MSport,” Senna said.
“The team has had great success in the past, most recently winning the ELMS LMP3 Teams’ and Drivers’ titles, and I’m sure the LMP2 step will be another successful one.
“Our experiences combined should make us a strong contender for the races and I’m really looking forward to kicking things off.”
Senna will race alongside John Farano, with one further driver set to be announced at a later date. Senna will be present for all ELMS rounds except the 4 Hours of Silverstone, which takes place on the same weekend as the 2019-20 WEC season opener.
The new ELMS campaign gets underway with the 4 Hours of Le Castellet at Paul Ricard on April 14.
