Currently second in the Fujitsu standings behind Adam Macrow and still with a mathematical chance of winning, the 19-year-old used his links with Perkins Motorsport to get a drive in the two endurance classics alongside Fujitsu team-mate Jack Perkins, although they finished down in 24th in Sandown and the retired after just one lap at Bathurst.
Nonetheless, Price, who is also enlisted Holden's 'Young Lion' program, will have the chance to shine on his own at Symmons Plains when he steps into the Holden Commodore VZ.
"It was great to do Sandown and Bathurst in the main series, but having a chance to compare ourselves at a regular round is an opportunity Jack and I didn't think we'd get this year," he said.
