"Craig is a proven champion and has plenty of experience in V8 Supercars, while Dave is one of the best young up-and-coming talents around in an ultra-competitive category," he said, "They have shown they know how to drive fast while keeping a level head, which is exactly what is needed at Bathurst."
Baird and Reynolds both agreed to being thrilled at getting a drive with the reigning champions, with Kiwi Baird claiming that the deal was for 'one of the best seats'.
"Toll HSV is the form team, and has a great record at Bathurst," he said, "I haven't been in a competitive V8 Supercar for some time, so it is nice to go with the team that's leading the championship."
While Baird will be making his tenth V8 Supercar assault on Bathurst, 2004 Australian Formula Ford champion Reynolds will be making his V8 Supercar debut at this year's endurance rounds.
"It is every kid's dream to race with the best team in the country," the 21-year old said, "Last year, I couldn't get a drive at Sandown or Bathurst, and now these guys, who are probably the most professional team in the series, are taking me under their wing. What more could I want?"
