Richards ready to tear up Raceway.
Outspoken in his comments about Queensland Raceway last week, Jason Richards reckons that he has just the machine to solve the problem of the layout.
The Tasman Motorsport pilot labelled the Ipswich venue 'mind-numbing' in his preview to the latest round of the V8 Supercar series, claiming that driving there was 'as painful as pulling teeth', and his comments led to the chance to test a machine capable of 'tearing up' the circuit in a different way to normal for any racing driver.

The 30-year old swapped his regular Holden Commodore V8 Supercar for a Cavallo Earthworks 20-tonne Sumitomo excavator, reckoning that it was just the job for a spot of remodelling.
"After last week's controversies, we've had a really big think about how best to attack the track and, with the 20-tonner, we've now got a machine that we can really tear up the place with," Richards said, "I've had some serious ups and downs there in the past, but with a machine like this we could put in some hills, a few more curves, give the place some character which it desperately needs!"
