Suriano Suzuki signs Mathew Scholtz
Mathew Scholtz will get a second season in the World Supersport Championship after penning a deal with Suriano Suzuki for 2013.
Scholtz made his series debut with the Bogdanka PTR Honda team in 2012, the South African making good strides over the course of the season, culminating in him scoring a best finish of seventh during the Magny-Cours finale.
For 2013, Scholtz will ride a Suzuki GSX-R600 under the Suriano Racing banner, in doing so becoming the first full-time WSS Suzuki rider since 2009.
"During this last season in the world championship I noticed the achievements of this great team. They were looking for me even last year and now I know that this is the right team to join both to grow as a rider and to place myself among the top of the ranking. I'm sure that with the help of Ninetto Suriano this is absolutely a doable aim."
