WTCC: Lacko ditches Alfa for BMW.
Young Czech driver Adam Lacko has announced that he is to ditch his Alfa Romeo 156 after just one round of the new WTCC season to switch to a BMW.
Lacko, who finished third in the independents standings in the second race at Monza, will join Carl Rosenblad in the Crawford Racing team from the next round of the season at Magny-Cours, having tested the car during the media day and official test at Monza last month.
The car will run under the colours of IEP Team - the same team that prepared the Alfa.

"It's always good to have a team mate to compare and analyse together with," Rosenblad said. "But we will also be competitors and I will do my best to be fastest in the team."
