WTCC: ORECA to run SEAT France entry.

SEAT Sport France has announced that it is to team up with top French team ORECA to launch a challenge on the World Touring Car Championship.

Stephane Ortelli - who won the N-GT title in the FIA GT Championship in both 2002 and 2003 - will drive the Toledo Cupra as he makes a return to the world of touring cars where he raced in the early 1990s as a partner to current BTCC front runner Yvan Muller.

The addition of Ortelli means there will be at least three Toledo Cupras on the grid at Oschersleben alongside the GR Asia pair Tom Coronel and Valle Makela. Works SEAT drivers Rickard Rydell, Jordi Gene and Peter Terting could give the new Leon WTCC car its race debut, although it may be that the team elects to run only one or two of the drivers in the new car.

The SEAT Sport France/Team ORECA entry will also compete in the two following rounds in Istanbul and Valencia.
