Full Biography

The driver won several karting titles in his native Brazil
before switching to the European racing scene in 2009. Nasr totally dominated
his first season in Formula BMW, winning the title by a mammoth 104 points.

After two progressive seasons in the British Formula Three
championship, with the Brazilian clinching the title in 2011, he moved into the
GP2 series for 2012. Nasr also made his debut in sportscar racing, claiming a
highly-impressive third place in the overall classification of the Rolex 24
Hour race at Daytona with Michael Shank Racing.

Nasr enjoyed three seasons in GP2, culminating in a third
place in the drivers’ standings in 2014, with four race victories. During the
2014 season Nasr also acted as F1 team Williams’ reserve driver and took part
in three tests and five free practice sessions.

With strong financial backing the Brazilian secured an F1
race seat for the 2015 season with Sauber.
